Phase-out of TLS 1.0 and 1.1
To continue safeguarding the security of our services, the outdated TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 are being phased out. Our servers support TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3, which meet current security standards and are in most cases already actively in use.
TLS (Transport Layer Security) is a security protocol used to encrypt and secure communication between systems over the internet.
When will the phase-out take place?
This change will be implemented in the acceptance environments on 22 January. The change for the production environments follows on 12 March 2026.
What is the impact?
The impact of this change is limited to web integrations, such as connections via our REST API. Most environments already use TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3, in which case no action is required.
If TLS 1.0 or 1.1 is still in use, suppliers that communicate with our REST API via web integrations are required to update their configuration to a supported TLS version in time.
If you are still using the Stb 7 Outlook add-in, it will no longer work after this change. The new version is available and you can find the installation instructions here.
