Because everyone has different settings on their workstation, you may find that you have to log in again and again. This happens because the browser session is logged out too quickly.
This article describes several options you can check to improve this.
Microsoft Edge
Users working with Microsoft Edge can adjust the following setting in the browser.
You can adjust this via the following steps:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Go to
Settings(via the three dots at the top right). - Navigate to System and performance.
- Find the option "Sleeping tabs" or "Save resources with sleeping tabs".
- Click "Manage exceptions" or "Never put these sites to sleep".
- Add the URL of the system you use here, for example
crm01.stb.nl.
By doing this, the session remains active and you have to log in again less often.
Workstation sleep mode
Sometimes sleep mode may have been configured on the workstation by the system administrator. When the workstation is not used for a while, it goes into sleep mode, which disconnects the internet connection. There are various power and sleep options within Windows that can improve this. Contact your system administrator for this.
If you cannot work it out, contact support via a ticket.
